MOSGIEL INDUSTRIAL COOPERATIVE SOCIETY.
There was an attendance of about 60 at tho half-yearly meeting of shareholders of the Hosgiel Industrial Cooperative Society, hold in the Coronation Kali on Saturday. The report and balance sheet were read and adopted. In moving the adoption tho chairman said that the society was in a healthy condition, and that it had Iren the best halfyear they bad experienced since the company was floated. The net profit on the company’s business during the period under review enabled the directors to allocate a dividend of Is per share, which would be paid into.the share reserve fund. The chairman aleo . advocated increasing the capital of the society. TJje; following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing six months: —Freni dent, Mr S. Edwards; committee —Messrs Hides. M’Lollan, end Gun tan. Mr T, M'LclLan was reelected secretary.
