WEDDING.

A quiet but very pretty wadding was solemnised at. Chalmers Presbyterian Church, 'I imam, on Thursday, August 4, when Miss Florence Harris, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs H. Harris, 82 High street, was united in the bonds of matrimony to Mr David Gunn. youngest son of Mr and Mrs David Gunn, Leo street, Bluff. The Hev. Gladstone Hughes officiated, arid Mr Axel Newton presided at the organ. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, looked very dainty in a lovely frock of cream taffeta (early Victorian style). Her Irantifid tulle veil (hand embroidered) was caught at the sides with touches of orange blossom. A pretty bouquet of winter roses and maidenhair fern completed a very effective toilet. The bride was attended by two bridesmaids Miss M. Nolan, who wore a lovely frock of shell pink taffeta and chic hat of silver lace and tulle, and carried a lovely bouquet oi spring flowers, and Miss F. Gunn (sister of the bridegroom), who wore a smart frock of lavender brocade with picture hat. .-ihc also carried a bouquet of spring flowers. Mr T. Harris (the bride's brother), acted as best man, and Mr K. Camp-bell as groomsman. After the ceremony the party proceeded to the residence of the bride's parents, where a dainty wedding breakfast was partaken of. and the toasts customnrv to such an occasion duly honoured. The happy couple left by motor, en route for the north, where an extended Honeymoon is to be spent. The bride travelled in a smart nigger brown frock beautifully braided and dainty hat to match. Numerous a.nd costly presents were received by both parties.
