RETURNED SOLDIERS’ CHOIR.
The box plan—which opened for subscribers yesterday morning—indicates by its bookings that the usual full house will greet the Returned Soldiers’ Choir at its concert on Tuesday evening in ]lj g Majesty’s Theatre. The part songs to bo contributed by the choir comprise “Queen of the Night,” “The Hag,” “Full Fathom Five” and a duet for the bassi of the choir, “The Lord is a Man of War,” in the first part of the programme. The second part includes a humorous chorus. “A Catastrophe,” a glee. 'Strike the Lyre,” and (wo short part songs, “Rest”" and “Evening Song.” A pianoforte duet by two such well-known exponents as Messrs W. Paget Gale and R. K. Macfio should find instant favour, as should elocutionary items from Mrs Alex- Gale. The lady soloist is Miss Alice Wilkinson, L.A.8., no stranger to Dunedin audiences, while (ho male soloists from the choir are Messrs T. Harvey and F. Haig. A quartet from the choir quartet party completes an excellent programme. The plan at the Bristol will bo open to subscribers to-day and for nonsubscribers on Monday morning.
