RETURNED SOLDIERS’ CHOIR.
The second concert of this season to lie given Iry the Returned Soldiers’ Uhoir on Tuesday evening in His Majesty’s Theatre promises to be in no way inferior to anv of its predecessors. The choir is now In its fifth year, and, despite its comparative youthful existence, is steadily winning for itself a permanent place in tho esteem of the music-loving public. The programme lo Ire presented is rich in concerted numbers, and an especial feature of this concert will be the appearance of the Returned Soldiers’ Choir Quartet Party. The soloists will be Miss Alice Wilkinson, L.A.8., Messrs W. Haig and T. Harvey, while Airs Alex. Gale. ,who is already well and favourably known to Dunedin audiences, will render elocutionary items. In addition, Messrs W. Paget Gale and R. K. Macfle will render a pianoforte duet. Mr W. Paget Gale will be in charge of tho choir, with Mr R. K. Macfie at tho piano. Tho plan for subscribers will be opened this morning at the Bristol Piano Company, and for non-subscribers on Alondav.
