Shares have been in great demand, and three sales have taken place at 2-Hs, although tiro week started at a buying quotation cf 2Gs. Buyers of New Zealand Paper Mills have quoted at 23s Gd, but sellers would net part at less than 21s 9d. Otago Daily Times havo mmainod at 655. A parcel of Mosgiel Woollens was reported sold early in the week at £6 15s. Nokcmai Hydraulics have appeared cn the market, a solitary buyer quoting at Is, but sellers quoted at ss. A parcel cf ‘Electrolytic Zincs (dcf. ord.) was sold at 23s 3d. War Bonds have attracted few sellers, though buyeni’ offers have increased, and no business has been done.
