' » (LTD.) have received instructions to coll by public auction, as above: 82 Pedigreed AYRSHIRE CATTLE, comprising—--25 Cows 22 two-year-old Heifers 16 yearling Heifers 2 two-year-old Bulls 17 yearling Bulls. The Ivanhoo herd contains the best Ayrshire blood in the dominion, and the above sale offers to breeders and dairymen a unique opportunity of procuring descendants of the highest butter-fat performers in the breed. The young bulls to bo offered are the best team ever bred at “Ivanhoe," and include the 7-monlhs-old son of Ivanhoo Fancy, the Now Zealand champion butter-fat Ayrshire cow who last year produced under semi-official test 14,2081 b fat. These bulls were sired by Ivanhoe Baron (champion at Invercargill Show), and Waipapa King Richard. Of the 25 cows for sale 15 are in calf to Thornhill Loyalty, whoso clam, Shewalton Mains Lizzie, is conceded by competent judges at Homo to bo one of the best cows in Scotland. At the London Dairy Show the second and third prize heifers in the milking trial were sired by a full brother to Thornhill Loya'ty. Of the balance of the cows and heifers the bulk have been bred to Ivanhoe Dairy King (son of Ivanhoo Fancy), and a few _to Ashley Park Eclipse, the unbeaten yearling at recent shows.
