INDIAN FIRM IN FIJI. HEAVY LIABILITIES. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. SUVA, June 19. Messrs V. M. Pillay and Bros., Indian merchants, in a statement of their allairs in bankruptcy, disclose a deficiency of £24,843. Their liabilities amount to £57,672, including unsecured deposits, principally of Indian settlers, amounting to £29,463. Tho assets include stock and plant, etc., valued at £IO,BOO and boox debts estimated to produce £11,834.
