Tho arrest of I'ilipelli (editor of the Corriere d’ltaliano) in Genoa was dramatic. Ho had secured a motor boat, and was already at sea when lie was pursued and captured by tho police and the marines in four submarine chasers. Albino Volpi (reported to be the ringleader) was captured in a small inn at Ballabia, which the police surrounded. — A. and N.Z. Cable. BRITISH LABOUR INDIGNANT. MESSAGE TO ITALIAN UNIONS. LONDON, June 18. (Received June 19, at 5.5 p.m.) The General Council of the British Trade Union Congress and tho Executive Committee of the Labour Party passed a resolution expressing their profound indignation at the Matteotti affair, and charging the leaders of Fascism with moral responsibility for the deputy’s death. They also telegraphed wishing success to the efforts of the Italian trade unions in their movement to recover the right of tree combination, political and civic freedom, and a judiciary free from Government influence. —Reuter.
