DEMOCRATIC ACTIVITIES. MR M'ADOO’S CAMPAIGN. Press Aeaociation—By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, June id. (Received June 19, at 5.5 p.m.) The campaign of Mr William G. M’Adoo for the Democratic nomination lor the Presidency entered upon its linal phase when ho arrived and took advisory charge of Ivis forces to-day. A staff of •'boomers” of the candidacy of Mr .James Cox for the Presidency is also busy. The supporters of Mr M’Adoo announce that they will issue a daily newspaper to l>e called The Progressive Democrat. The National Democratic Convention of Negroes adopted a resolution declaring that the Democratic platform was broad enough for their feet. Feeling between the opposing Democratic factions in Missouri is ao bitter that the “dry” and ‘‘wet” delegates intend to travel to New York in separate trains. —•Reuter.
