A representative meeting of employers passed a motion condemning the overlapping of Federal and State industrial legislation, and calling on the Federal and State Governments to legislate to put an end to the existing complexities. MELBOURNE, June 17. The Federal Government has announced that, subject to agreement between the States, it will legislate to amend the Commonwealth industrial laws to exclude State instrumentalities. It has also agreed to amend the Constitution to incorporate a list in the Constitution of Federal industries and the principles of revision, and to provide for a tribunal representing the Commonwealth 1 and the States to revise the list at least every five, years.
