In the House of Commons, replying to questions in regard to the breakdown of the Mosul negotiations, Mr Ramsay MacDonald said that as'' soon as the nine months’ period allowed lor direct negotiations by the Treaty of Lausanne had elapsed the Government would invite the League of Nations to decide the TurcoIralc frontier. Meanwhile the Government proposed to communicate with the Turkish Government on the matter in order to smooth over any difficulties.— Reuter.
