EXPULSION OF MR CUMMINS A GRAVE BREACH OF COURTESY. t'resa Association—By Telegraph—Copyrigvt, LONDON. June 16. In the House of Commons Mr Ramsay MacDonald, replying to questions regarding the Mexican Government’s threat to expel Mr Gmnmins, said that the Government regarded this action as a grave breach of Anglo-Mexican courtesies, but he was awaiting further information. The Mexican Government had been informed that Mr Cummins would leave upon the arrival of Sir Thomas Hobler on a mission of inquiry with a view to regularising Anglo-Mexican relations. It had also been informed that if it took steps against Mr Cummins with which the British Government did not concur Hir T. Hobler’s mission would not be proceeded with. Mr MacDonald said be agreed that the trouble was due to Mr Cummins’s representations on behalf of the rights ot British subjects in Mexico, the latest referred to being a British woman whose property the Mexican Government wished to seize—Reuter.
