(Received June 17, at 8.5 p.m.) The reply of the United States to the Japanese protest on exclusion has been handed to the Ambassador (Mr Hanihara) by Mr C. E. Hughes (Secretary of State). (Received June 17, at 9.50 p.m.) Natives of India, both high and low caste, are included in the immigration restrictions, according to a decision of the Court of Appeal revoking tho citizenship of A.
