(Received Juno 16, at 8 p.m.) Mr Josiah Wedgwood, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, in a week-end speech, warned the Labourites against the Liberal suggestion for an autumn election. He declared that the next Budget would deal with land for the people, and there was likely to be an appeal to the electorate upon this matter. —-A. and N.Z. Cable.
