Trotsky, in a speech, declared that the reports of his alleged recent speech at Pololsk favouring a Russian invasion of Bessarabia as a step towards the seizure of Constantinople and the Straits was absolutely untrue. On the contrary, ho declared that the conquest of the Straits was radically opposed to the policy of the Soviet, which had helped Turkey to regain possession of Constantinople.—Reuter.
