RESTRICTIONS ON CHINESE
CANADA’S NEW REGULATIONS. SIGNS OP KEEN RESENTMENT. Preso Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. OTTAWA, June 14. (Received June 15, at 5.5 p.m.) July 1, Dominion Day, will be observed by Chinese residents throughout Canada as a day of humiliation in order to show their indignation at the now immigration regulations, which under penalty of fines, imprisonment or deportation, require the registration of all Clunese in Canada with photographs and personal details. It is said that flags will bo flown at half-mast and that Chinese homes will bo festooned with mourning wreaths. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
