DUNEDIN FANCIERS’ CLUB.
CONCLUDING DAY. Tho annual show of the Dunedin Fanciers’ Club was brought to a close on Saturday evening after a successful run of three days. The fact that inclement weather ruled during the show period had a somewhat detrimental effect on tho attendances, which showed a falling off compared with those of last year, although the number present on Saturday showed an increase ns compared with the third day last year. Tho birds and animals exhibited wore of a high standard, and the visitors were loud in their praise of them. Mr E. S. Wilson, the energetic secretary, is deserving of every credit for the manner in which ho attended to the many duties which fell to his lot. He was at all times courteous and obliging, and gave every assistance to those who required it. In tho dog section, Pomeranians, black or any colour, over 71b, G. M. Gardiner took first prize with his Prince Chum, and A. V. Dunne’s Rabymero Kitty secured tho second. SPECIAL PRIZES. Following is the final list of special prizes: POULTRY.
