INSOLVENCIES IN MAY.
FARMERS HEAD THE LIST. (Pee United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 13. There were 65 insolvencies recorded in the dominion last month, compared with 61 in April and 67 in March. The figures for May, compared with those of the corresponding month of tho preceding three years, show as follow: May, 1924 - - May, 1923 ’ 62 May, 1922 8 May, 1921 33 The feature of lust month, apart from bankruptcies of farmers, was insolvencies of storekeepers, six of whom were made bankrupt. Farmers again head the list, with 15 insolvencies, labourers being next with nine.
