PROPERTY SALE. Park, Reynolds (Limited) report having sold at auction yesterday, on behalf of Mr Charles Stewart, section 4, bldck 43, St, Kilda, area 14.6 poles, with a three-roomed wooden cottage, stable, and cartshed, for the sum of £430, to Mrs Sarah Henderson. UNITED STARR-BOWKETT. A meeting of members of the United Starr-Bowkett Building Society was held in the office of J. W. Smeaton and Co. last evening to dispose of £SOO first ballot in No. 8 Group. Mr E. A. Rosevcar, chairman of directors, who presided, stated that it was his pleasure to announce that already over 1600 shares had been allotted in this group and as No. 8 Group only commenced operations in April it was very gratifying to all concerned. He stated that it was to the benefit of every member that each group should be a strong group, and the more groups there were the better for all members. He announce! that further appropriations in this group would follow almost immediately, and that as there were still a few shares loft there yet remained an opportunity for those wishing to join this group. A ballot was then held, which resulted as follows:—Cluster No. 16, being held by one shareholder resident in Milton.
