(Received June 11, at 5.5 p.m.) Rioting at Calcutta resulting in the death of three Sikhs and serious injuries to seven others including a sub-inspector of police occurred as the -outcome of rumours that Sikh workmen who are excavating at King George's dock at Kidderpore were kidnapping Mohamiriedan children ’for human sacrifice. . This is the culmination of rumours which' have been current some days, and which previously led to the death of a Sikh' workman. — Reuter. '
