IRELAND'S BOUNDARIES
PRESIDENT OPPOSES DELAY. LONDON, May 24. Interviewed in Dublin regarding the boundary question, Mr W. T. Cosgrave, President of th 6 Executive Council of the Irish Free State, slid the Free State Goveminent held itself bound by the treaty to give effect to the wishes of the inhabitants, and the British Government was equally bound. If the Governments an mil led the rights of the people, the latter would be entitled to seek every possible remedy in national and international law. They preferred, like him, to see their rights conceded without strife of any kind, and it was impossible to expect him to participate in conferences which held out chiefly a prospect of delay and exasperation.
