The British Commonwealth Labour Conference, the first of its kind, will commence its sittings in London on August 17 under the chairmanship of Mr Ramsay MacDonald. It is expected that all the dominions and India will be represented. The agenda includes a discussion on the relations of Labour parties and trade unions within tne British Commonwealth, the maintenance of world peace, migration, racial questions, and industrial conditions and legislation. The International Federation of Trade unions and the Socialist International have been invited to send fraternal delegates.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
