ALLEGED THEFT OF SHEEP.

AUCKLAND FARMER CHARGED. (Pek United P®kss Association.} AUCKLAND, March 31. At the Police Court Milton M’Millan, aged 55, a farmer, of Mangatawhiei, near Pokeno, was charged with the theft of 11 sheep valued at £l3 15s, tho property of a neighbouring farmer, Alexander Bell. Evidence was given to the effect that accused removed 11 stray sheen from a farm in the district, explaining that three of theme wore his, A numlier of sheep sold for accused at auction included two with Bell’s earmarks, and tha police discovered seven others on the accused's farm.
