A youth who is undergoing a sentence in Hobart Gaol has developed ostrich-like propensities. During the past five weeks in various operations a largo buckle, three 3in nails, two needles, the handle of a fork, the handle of a pannikin, a piece of wood, two screws, six buttons, and other indigestible articles have been removed /rom his stomach and intestines.
