INTEREST IN BROADCASTING. LARGE INCREASE OF LICENSES. Prc-.'S Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 8. Sir L. Worthingtou-Evans (PostmasterGeneral), in opening the British Wireless Exhibition, said there were now listening-in licenses compared with 170,000 at the end of September. This was the result of an appeal to “pirate” listencrs-in. He would not be content until the number of licenses was quadrupled. Every cottage ought to have an apparatus.-—A. and N.Z. Cable.
