CRICKETER DROPS DEAD.

FATALITY! AT PORT CHALMERS. Air Robert Jack died suddenly while playing cricket on the recreation ground at Port Chalmers on Saturday afternoon. He was wicket-keeping, and while walking over between the wickets he fell down dead. The indications pointed to heart failure, me deceased was chief engineer at the Harbour Board docks, and previously was engineer on tho tugs for a. number of years. He was about 60 years of age, and leaves a widow and three sons, the oldest of whom is a school teacher. An inquest will be held to-day.
