N.Z. DENTAL ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL MEETING
(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 30. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Dental Association to-day Mr 0. V. Davies (Dunedin) presiding, the following motion was adopted:—“That this conference communicate to the Minister of Health its confidence in the present school denial nurses’ scheme, and its opinion that this system should be extended by the employment of more dental nurses.” It was unanimously resolved that in consideration of their services to the dental profession, Mr T. A. Hunter (Director of Dental Hygiene) and Mr A. Hoby (Wellington) be appointed life honorary members of tho New Zealand Dental Association.
Officers for the ensuing year wore elected as follows:—President, Mr George C. Tripe (Wellington); vice-president and presidentelect, Dr J. G. Warren (Auckland); chairman of tho executive, Mr G. Lawrence Taylor (Auckland) ; hou, treasurer, Mr B. S. Finn (Auckland); hon. secretary, Mr Claude H. .Moses (Auckland). A telegram published in our issue of yesterday stated in error that Mr Davies was attached to tire Otago Dental School. Mr Davies has been. in private practice in this city for some years.
