TRIBUTES FROM DOCTORS. COMPLETE CURES SEEN. LONDON, May 15. Dr Jackson Morris, medical officer attached to Australia House, says that experts did not wish to cause the public to feel optimistic about the Spahlinger turberculosis treatment, since it might not be available, "'towing to the lack of financial support; but medical men were confident that Dr Spahlinger had discovered a cure for consumption. ' I have seen cases treated and cured,’’ said Dr Morris. "The patients are all now doing a full day’s work, without signs of recurrence of the malady. Clinical records show that recovery can take place, even in advanced cases of consumption showing marked toxic effects of the disease, such as night sweats, evening rise of temperature, quick pulse, • and profuse expectoration. In fact, there are instances of the recovery of persons dying rapidly, with probably only two or three months to live.

" Dr Spahlinger spent all his money on the preliminary research, but if he could get the capital required to purchase the necessary horses and other animals, ana to buy materials and increase his staff, he could immediately increase the output from the foundation cultures which ne possesses." "I am .satisfied that Spahlinger's treatment is a wonderful thing,''; said Dr M'Keddie, of Victoria, in an interview given to a representative of the Sydney Sun. "It will produce definite results. Experts desire that overmuch publicity be not given to the matter, because they fear that financial support may not be forthcoming. It would therefore be cruel to raise people's hopes, only to disappoint them. " Dr Spahlinger is now manufacturing a ■serum that wall euro patients in six months, but to develop a culture from the beginning requires four years. If Dr Spahlinger were given the necessary financial assistance he could teach others the process, and establish laboratories for manufacturing the serum. " There will be an enormous demand when the outside public becomes fully acquainted with the possibilities of the treatment, and other countries will be sure to apply for supplies."
