WAIHI MONTHLY RETT7KN. The Waihi Gold Mining Company, during tho period ended May 12,'crushed and treated 15,635 tons of ore for a return of 4721©z of gold and 43,6930 zof silver. In the corresponding period of 1322 the return waa 40260 z of gold and 18,8620 z of silver from 12,773 tons of ore. The following information has been cabled to the head office- of the company in London:—No. 9 level, Edward lode: Driving south tho next 42ft assays 17a per ton. The reef is about 50ft wide. No. 12 level, Edward lode: A crosscut has been commenced at 91i:'t down the Trout winze. The first 15ft to the west assays 31s per ton, and" the first 10ft to the east 29a 3d per ton.
