BARCELONA ASSASSINS
GUNMEN’S AUDACITY. VOLUNTARY POLICEMEN MURDERED. Ptom Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MADRID, May 29. (Received May 30, at 0.10 a.m.) The audacity of the Barcelona gunmen has no limit. While a football match was in progress a motor car drove up to the edge of the playing ground. Eight armed men with revolvers descended and coolly executed two voluntary policemen who had been selected as victims by the assassins’ organisation. Five others in the crowd were wounded, after which the murderers entered the car and drove off.— A. and N.Z. Cable.
