“FACING” THE MUSIC.”
At His Majesty’s Theatre to-night and the two following nights what is said to be the merriest comedy ever staged will be produced under the patronage of the Mayor (Mr H. L, Taploy) and councillors. Tho proceeds are to bo devoted to the Flood Relief Fund. Mr Do Sport g offered to produce this play, which was run so successfully for a five-night, season last year. The Overseas Club agreed to take charge of tho issue of tickets, and it only remains for the public to do its share by supporting a worthy object and also by attending in" largo 'numbers to encourage the produce tion of first-class comedies by our local performer?. On this occasion they aro producing (he play without charge and providing their own stage accessories. The box plan is now- open at the Bristol.
