FIRE BRIGADES’ DEMONSTRATION
The Fire Brigades’ Demonstration wi’l commence at the Caledonian Ground this morning, and will be continued on Monday and Tuesday. It is 18 years since a demonstrating was Inst held in Dnnedin. and it will no doubt prove a novelty to the Dnnedin public On Sunday morning a church para do will bo held, the brigades attending service at the First Church. St. Paul’s and St. Joseph’s Cathedral. On Sunday afternoon the visitors will he taken for a trip down the harbour. On Monday eycning a dance will he hold at. St. Kilda. and on Tuesday evening there will be a smoke concert in the Early Settlers’ Hall, where the prizes won at the demonstration will be presented.
