N.S. WALES LABOUR PARTI} MR DOOLEY EXPELLED. • Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, March 2. The Labour Party’s Executive expelled Mr Dooley from the movement, and has invited applications from, members of the Labour Party for the leadership. It ia stated that Mr Dooley incurred expulsion in consequence of a published statement in which he described some of the mem* hers of the executive as crooks. THE YARRA TRAGEDY. r ’; INQUEST ADJOURNED. MELBOURNE, March 2. • The inquest on the victim of the Yarm tragedy was adjourned till Wednesday. WOOL TOPS CASE. QUESTION OF COSTS. MELBOURNE, March 2. The matter of costs in the wool tops case was mentioned in the High Court. It was stated that the total costs are ia the vicinity of £45,000. The court ordered that the cost of the shorthand notes (£2000) and the cost for interlocutory applications be charged against tha company, in addition to the costs sioned.by issues of fact. N.S.W. LIVE STOCK RETURNS. SYDNEY, March 2. Live stock returns for 1922:—Horses, 509,970; decrease, 17,461. Cattle, 3,082,931; decrease, 168,702. Sheep, 33,987,887; decrease, 788,188.
