Joynson-Hicks’s report, which had removed all difficulties regarding the management of the Empire Exhibition. There was now every prospect of whole-hearted support from all quarters. A meeting of High Commissioners appointed Sir James Allen to represent them on the Empire Exhibition Board, and asked him to obtain a definite understanding in regard to the distribution of profits.
