SIR JOYNSON-HICKS’S , REPORT, Free* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March L The President of the Board of Trade (Sir Philip Lloyd-Greame), questioned in the House of Commons, said he hoped and believed that steps would be taken to give effect to Sir W. Joynson-Hicks’s report, which had removed all difficulties regarding the management of the Empire Exhibition. There was now every prospect of whole-hearted support from all quarters. All concerned were indebted to Sir W. Joynson-Hiefcs for his thorough investigation and report.—A. and N:Z. Cable. THE DOMINIONS’ INTERESTS SIR JAMES ALLEN’S APPOINTMENT. LONDON, March 1. A meeting of High Commissioners appointed Sir James Allen to represent them on the Empire Exhibition Board, and asked him to obtain a definite understanding in regard to the distribution of profits. It was suggested that the realisation of the assets should include an allotment of 50 per cent, of the profits to the dominions.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
