MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE
A GISBORNE CASE. (Per United Peers Aesoctatton.) GISBORNE. January 15. Frances Quinn, a married woman, was charged in the Police Court with h-'viug committed an unlawful act on Eileen O’Donoghue. which' caused her death, thereby ' committing manslaughter. She was reminded till January 22, bail in £SOO hud one surety of the, same amount being allowed. The girl O’Donoghue died at Napier recently. Ouinn stands also remanded on a charge' of illegal use of un instrument on a girl Who is seriouslv ill in Gisborne Tlosnitnl. and Albert Edward Harris (shoepfanner) was arrested and remanded in connection with tho same charge.
