FAMINE THREATENED
MILLION REFUGEES IN GREECE. Press Association —By Tclogmpn—Copyright LONDON. January 13. (Received Jan. 14, at 5.5 p.m.) Sir Arthur Stanley (Chairman of the British Red Cross Society), writing to tho press, points out that Greece, owing to its invasion by 1,000.000 nennileas refugees, will become a famine area. Unless immediate help is forthcoming Greece will become utterly exhausted, and epidemics will break opt. The refugees include British subjects from Smyrna—A. and N.Z. Cable.
