Duke Maddox (Hastings) and Mike Flynn (Auckland) fought to a draw in a 1,5-round professional contest at Hastings to-night for a purse of £9O. Flynn was very Aggressive, and many thought that Maddox was fortunate in the verdict. V. Clinto (Palmerston North) knocked out W. Parker (Wellington) in the third round of the amateur bout.
