Tha Waikouaiti Caledonian Society’* sports were held yesterday under ideal con* -■ ditions. The public was well satisfied with the number, of competitors, and the handicap - * ping left nothing to be desired, as the finishes ’ were very close. The starter got his - fields A* away in _ good order. The special feature Of - the meeting was the piping and dancing, and the judge (Mr Ford) gave satisfaction, to all .- concerned.
