Letters were received from the Wyndham Racing Club and the Winton Jockey Club stating that they had decided to reduce their acceptance fees. A letter was received from the Dunedin Jockey Club stating that it could not comply with the association’s request regarding the reduction of acceptance fees. Mr R. Green reported that a deputation had waited on Mr T. Elliott, president of the Forbury Park Trotting Club, in connection with the reinstatement of the amateur event on future programmes, and Mr Elliott said that his committee would be prepared to meet a deputation when drafting its next programme.
