RIFLE SHOOTING

BRUCE CLUB. The Bruce Defence Rifle Club on Saturday afternoon fired the first of a two days’ competition for prizes awarded by Rifleman A. Rani and Messrs Rani and Co. The day was excellent for shooting and as a result one or two good individual scores were obtained. Rifleman M. Paul scored 48 at GOO yards, with a total of 93 over both ranges, and Rifleman F. Allan 47 at 500 yards. Conditions; Competition to occupy two Saturdays, both days' scores to count; ranges, 500 and 600 yards; 10 shots, two sighters (optional) at both ranges; handicap limit, 90.
