FANCY DRESS CARNIVAL
The fancy dress carnival conducted under the auspices of Miss Wallace and Mr A. Gordon in the Early Settlors’ Hall on Saturday Inst was well patronised, over 90 couples attending. The costumes were in many cases novel and attractive, and ns the gaily clad dancers glided round the hall the many colours of the dresses, combined with the coloured lighting, presented quite a merry spectacle. The Gordon-Flint Jazz Band supplied the latest, hits.
