From 136 ft to 140 ft is quartz, value 3s 6d per ton; from. 140 ft to 149 ft the value is 19a 8d; from 149 ft to 162 ft is a mixture of quartz and country worth. 3s 4d; from 162 ft to 166 ft is country rock; from 166 ft to 170 ft is worth 5s 6d; and from X7oft to 178 ft is country rock.
