HARRIERS.

The St. Hilda Harriers held its 220 yards championship, bioad jump, hop. step, and jump, and one mile handicap events at Forbury Park. In the 220 yards championship eight competitors faced the starter. J. Nelson gained a flying start and kept tho lead for about 200 yards, when be was overtaken by A. Macdonald and S, Hitchcox. Results —A. Macdonald 1, S. Hitchcox 2, E l . Newell 3. Broad Jump; J. Nelson (2ft 9in), 17ft IJin, 1; E. Newell (Ift Gin), 16ft -tin, 2; S. Gibbs (3ft Gin), IGIt, 3. Hop, Step, and Jump: J. In the one mile handicap seven competitors faced the starter, Mr J. Henderson. C. Stubley, from 125yds, made the pace and kept his load for about two-thirds of a mile, when he was overtaken by S. Tho Pacific Club brought its season to a close, when the second series of sprint and field events was contested at Forbury Park in ideal weather Tlie 100 yards was the first event, and was well contested. Mr Rudkin effected a_ good start. M'Lcan, who has been a consistent performer this season, had another win oft 3Jyds, beating M'Lachlan by about 2ft. Results: C. H. M'Lean (3Jyds) 1, A. M'Lachlan. 5 points (two seconds and one third), 2; K. R. Morrison, three points, 3; G. Austin, two points, 4. The field events consisted of broad jump, javelin, and shot putt. In the broad jump, difficulty was experienced by most of the contestants in striking the hoard. Results: A. M'Lachlan (Ift), 18ft lin, 1; C. H. M'Lean (2ft), 17ft SJin, 2; G.
