With everyone from the captain clown to the cabin bov on a footing of perfect equality, tho Soviet steamer Bolshevik arrived at Harwich. The whole crew regard one another as brothers, and the stokers reclined in cabins smoking cigarettes to their hearts’ content. The cabins display photographs of Lenin, Trotsky, and other -Soviet leaders. All hands live together, sharing the same food. 1 The skipper is an educated man, who has travelled all over the world.
