The half-yearly meeting of the Court Advance was held last 'lnursday, and was largely attended. The court was presided over by the Chief Ranger, Bro. Colin Clark. One now member was initiated. It was decided to challenge Court Pride of the Valley to a Rugby match, and arrangements are being made to make this match a success. The following brothers were elected into office for the ensuing term : Jock Harvey, 8.R.; J. Hargreaves, S.C.R. ; S. W. MTlroy, S.W.; G, F. Chase, J.W.; L, W. /Cameron, 5.8.; L. Giles, J. 8.; and Alex. Kendrick, Assistant Secretary. Bros. W. J. Campbell and R. Jarvis. P.C.R.’s, adult members, acted as installing officers. Bro. Colin Clark, retiring Chief Ranger, is to receive the usual honours, namely, the P.C.R.’s certificate and ribbon. The secretary outlined the programme for the coming summer. It is hoped to alart an athletic club for the „ seniors and a Scout troop for the juniors.
