ALLEGED RETARDATION IN EDUCATION
TO THE EDITOB. Sir, —Mr Kerr’s statements of the meeting of the School Committee Association concerning the retardation of his own child in Sawyers’ Bay School are quite wrong. The girl has nof been three years at school. She is now 6 years 11 months, and is in Preparatory First. At the same rate of progress she will pass Standard VI at the age of years, quite young enough to enter for the scholarship examination.
