A picture version of ‘‘Get Rich Quick Wallingford” will be screened at the Empire Theatre to-day, also a depiction of lan M'Lareh’s ‘‘The Bonny Briar Busk” A good programme is being shown at the Octagon Theatre Johnny Hines, Betty Carpenter, and Marie Prevost are featured. “Scrambled Wives” was screened finally at the Queen’s Theatre yesterday. A good bill is announced for to-day. Mary Pickford in “Pollyanna” should appeal to adnjirers of this favourite screen beauty. The film will be screened at Everybody’s Theatre to-day. At the King Edward Theatre last evening a picture new to the south end of the city, “Carnival,” was screened for the first time. Matheson Lang gives a very fine impersonation in the leading role, and is strongly supported'. The other pictures include an interesting serial. "The Sea Wolf,” Jack London’s famous story, will be screened for the first time at (he Plaza Theatre to-day. Another big feature is the film version of Rafael Sabatini’s famous novel, “The Tavern Knight.” There is a varied list of supports. At the Grand Theatre to-day there will be screened for the first time Jack London’s famous story. “The Sea Wolf.” and Rafael Sabatini’s powerful novel, “The Tavern Knight.” There will also be some strong supporting pictures.
