OXFORD UNIVERSITY’S APPEAL. Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, June 26. (Received June 26, at 5.5 p.m.) Oxford University has appealed to the League of Nations to use its influence to protect from destruction the art treasures of Central and Eastern Europe, notably the Fadusza, the world famous statue of Maria Theresa at Poszony, and other famous statuary in Transylvania.—A. and N.Z.
