“QUALITY” PERFORMERS

HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE, SATURDAY NEXT. “Brightness, freshness and originality are the prominent characteristics of the Southwoods’ English Quality Performers, is, the best combination of its kind ever seen here.” Thus writes the Dominion of the “Q.P.’s,” who are credited. with having caused a most favourable impression in every city and town visited during their 16 weeks’ season in the North Island. This talented combination of 17 versatile artists are due to. appear at His Majesty’s Theatre on' Saturday next and the following'week/ presenting- on the opening, night ’■thef first of a series of programmes entitled “A Harvest of Humour and Harmony,” in which there is no lack of variety, which embraces smart, healthy humour, clever sketches, excerpts from operas, concerted numbers, jazz dancing, and .jazz band specialties. Vocal items from the “Miserere” Sand “II Trovatore,” astounding impersonations of famous stage celebrities, and mimicry Vill be given by Nina-Gordon, from the Palace Theatre, ’ London, who is making her first dominion appearance’in this city. Excellent, wholesome comedy is supplied by Miss Wenham (late J. C. Williamson company), George Sharratt, and Harry Webster from their budgets of comedy, songs, and character sketches.
