WEATHER SUMMARY
There was no outstanding feature in the weather last month, and the rainfall of 1 940i0 for the month compares favourably’ with the figures for the corresponding months of the two preceding years. The feict that winter is upon us was evidenced by the gradual drop in temperature from April 9 onwards. From April 1 to that date the minimum temperature averaged 57 degrees, and the maximum averaged 66 degrees; while from April 10 to the end of the month the weather beoaine odder, ..the thermometer registering an average d! 53 degrees minimum, the maximum" recording an average of 63 degrees. The last week or so the early mornings and evenings have been decidedly cold, a.nd frost is occasionally apparent.
